Designed for experienced crime scene investigators, this advanced course will take you beyond the basics and increase your knowledge and skills in bloodstain analysis. It will also give you a thorough understanding of the judicial process of being qualified to give expert witness testimony.
This course will give you additional “hands-on” experience with actual bloodstain patterns to further strengthen your recognition and analytical abilities. You will be involved in case studies where you will learn how to prepare and document your findings in written form. And a moot court exercise will give you an opportunity to testify about your findings and examine the impact of the Daubert Decision and other expert witness issues upon your testimony.
This course is crucial for all manners of law enforcement investigators who desire to present their opinions involving bloodstain patterns in a courtroom setting with confidence, while meeting the minimal requirements for expert testimony.

Note: In order to attend, you should have completed a 40-hour “wet lab” study of bloodstain pattern analysis. You are encouraged to bring camera equipment with you to class, although this is not a requirement.
