Volume 8 – August 17, 2011
Free training for your agency highlights this edition where we also focus on field training officer liability as well as the latest IPTM courses. Resources for law enforcement include a new FBI app for missing children and grip stippling technology designed to improve shooting accuracy. We also congratulate Russ Arend, IPTM’s first Director, on receiving the FPCA Wall of Honor Award.
Volume 7 – March 16, 2011
This issue covers new command post simulation training along with two upcoming conferences. We also discuss a free DVD and online videos covering officer safety and other training topics that are now available. And our technology focus highlights F.T.O. tracking software.
Volume 6 – August 4, 2010
IPTM looks to the future with our new online training system. Resources for law enforcement include a new handheld thermal imaging unit, requirements for international drivers, and information for combat veterans. We also spotlight motorcycle officer training and our cold case techniques course along with two new publications.
Volume 5 – February 11, 2010
IPTM turns 30 and we look back at three decades of progress. We also examine the challenges of today with responder guides to hybrid vehicles, video recording of speed violations, and other resources for law enforcement. In addition, we preview two upcoming conferences.

This issue is dedicated to our friend Bucky Beaver, who passed away in March 2009. It also features the results of our publications survey, spotlights the Tactical Response Issues program, and provides you with information about additional law enforcement resources.

Issue #3 highlights IPTM Director Bob Jacob, who received the J. Stannard Baker Award in November 2008. It also features new courses debuting in 2009 and spotlights the Forensic Scene Mapping Using Lasers course.
