This course provides in-depth instruction in the proper ways to conduct and manage sexual assault investigations involving children.
This course expands the topics of PSI’s Child Abuse Investigations course to illustrate the unique set of problems that exist in these kinds of cases. With topics ranging from how to recognize pedophiles to determining if a charge is unfounded, this course will greatly aid law enforcement personnel involved with child sexual assault cases. In addition to investigative and interviewing techniques, students will be presented with the characteristics of abused children as well as abusive parents.
