This course will explore the changing culture of criminal street gangs in the United States.  Historically, law enforcement has viewed the issue of street gangs as a national trend.  But today, a large number of communities are facing an influx of criminal gang activity with an international base.

This course will highlight the rise of international gang activity and provide prevention, intervention and suppression strategies to law enforcement officers at the street, investigative and leadership levels.
