Special Problems in
Traffic Crash Reconstruction 2008 CD
During IPTM’s Special Problems in Traffic Crash Reconstruction conference
held in April 2008, attendees witnessed a car crashing into another car towing a
jet ski as well as numerous staged pedestrian vaults.
We were once again able to obtain both video and photo coverage of these
collisions and have put them on a CD for you. Six videos of the two vehicle
crashes using different camera angles accompany four pedestrian vault test
videos. Photos taken before, during and after the collisions are included as
well.
PDF files of the breakout sessions can be found under the “Reference Materials”
button. The topics presented during the 2008 conference include:
- Keynote Address - “An Effective and Accepted Traffic Safety Program”
- A Comparison of Equations for Estimating Speed Based on Maximum Static
Deformations for Frontal Narrow-Object Impacts
- Accounting for Impulse and Rotation: An Application to Left Turn,
