Special Problems in Traffic Crash Reconstruction 2009 CD
Special Problems in
Traffic Crash Reconstruction 2009 CD
Vehicles colliding into Jersey barriers
highlighted IPTM’s Special Problems in Traffic Crash Reconstruction held in
Orlando, Florida during April 2009. While attendees were able to witness two
crashes during the conference, our reconstructionists spent the preceding week
conducting three others. We have collected videos and photos of the five
crashes, as well as all the speakers’ presentation materials, and put them
together on one CD for you.
After inserting the CD in your computer, decide
what you wish to view - photos, videos or reference materials. Photos and videos
are organized by conference or pre-conference crashes. Within the photos
section, several of the crashes were photographed by multiple cameras before,
during and after the crash. You can choose which photo album to open based on a
particular crash and then click on a specific picture to see a larger image.
Each collision was also recorded by multiple
video cameras placed at different angles. Organized first by crash and then by
viewing angle, select one view of the crash to watch and a page will open and
begin playing that video. Using the buttons located directly under the video,
you may pause and play the video as many times as you wish. You can also
navigate to any of the videos using the drop down menu located at the top of
each page.
Clicking the “Reference Materials” button will
open a page which lists the topics presented during the conference. Simply click
on a topic and you will be redirected to that speaker’s page. From there, you
can open a PDF of their presentation and view any associated materials they may
have provided, such as extra videos or supporting PDF files.
