IPTM's Special Problems in Traffic Crash Reconstruction - 2002 CD-ROM features the videos and analysis of the 6 motorcycle-to-car collisions that were orchestrated during our Special Problems conference in April 2002.
After placing the CD-ROM in your computer, simply choose from one of the following menu options:
- Day 1 - Motorcycle Crash Testing
- Day 2 - Motorcycle Crashes
- Day 3 - Human Factors
- Day 4 - Commercial Motor Vehicle Rollover Data and Testing
- Day 5 - Test Results on Staged Crashes
- Breakout Sessions
You will find videos of the crashes by choosing Day 1 or Day 2. Each collision can be viewed from four different camera angles. After playing each video, you may view selected pictures, review the data analysis and examine the data table for that crash.
Choosing Day 3 opens an Adobe PDF file that gives you a short review of the Human Factors involved in a collision. Opting for Day 4, you can view the PDF file created by Dr. Frank Navin concerning "Commercial Motor Vehicle Rollover Data and Testing." The test results, pictures, diagrams, charts and data analysis of each of the six collisions may be viewed as a slide show or as a PDF document by choosing Day 5.
Last but not least, the CD-ROM contains Powerpoint and/or PDF files of the 8 Breakout Sessions held during the conference. These include:
