IPTM’s Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Screening
Procedures note taking pad will allow you to administer any SFST in a
standardized and systematic manner. Each notepad includes testing instructions
for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved SFST battery,
which includes Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Walk and Turn and One Leg Stand. Two
alternate tests, Finger to Nose and Rhomberg are also identified. These
instructions can be read verbatim to each and every subject that is asked to
perform an SFST exercise or task.
The notepad contains 20 individual tear-out sheets, so you
can document the results of the subject’s performance on each exercise and
attach the sheet to his/her alcohol influence report. As a bonus, 7 additional
tear-out sheets are available for field notes.
For several years, this pocket sized note taking pad has been used by
police officers involved in DUI enforcement.
