IPTM is
just one of the many award winning Centers and Institutes at the
University of North Florida (UNF).
Academic programs at UNF are built on a strong foundation in the
traditional arts and sciences. Since its inception, UNF has demonstrated a continuing
commitment to its mission of excellence in teaching, research and public service.
UNF offers 52 undergraduate-degree programs with 132 areas of concentration and
27 master's-degree programs with 64 areas of concentration through the University's
College
of Arts and Sciences,
Coggin College of Business,
College of Computing,
Engineering and Construction, College of Education and Human Services
and Brooks
College of Health. UNF also has 3 doctoral degree programs.
UNF had 541 full-time faculty in the fall of 2006. Eighty-three percent of the full-time
faculty has a doctorate or terminal degree in their discipline. They have degrees
from more than 100 American and foreign universities. Nineteen current faculty members
are Fulbright Award recipients, one has been elected to the International Jazz Educators
Hall of Fame and another has been elected to the National Academy of Public Administration.
